Our Story
American Dream
More than 10 years ago, we left our established life in Europe and began to build it again from zero in the USA. We had a tough start but after several years of hard work our American dream became real. Martin worked as a scientist at NASA, Veronika started her first business and our two kids were born.
Missing Something
Living in a flat humid mosquito paradise (Houston), we soon realized that we miss mountains and spending more time outdoors. We had to travel many hours to get out from this wet flatland. We usually went to west Texas where the hills started to appear. But real big deal was our 4000 miles road trip across New Mexico and Colorado. This incredible adventure left something in our hearts that we started to dream about living in the Land of Enchantment... (see the video below)
Living in Los Alamos Is Like a Dream
We spent several years working on our move to New Mexico. It took a couple attempts and we had a little detour through California. There we actually could start doing things we love - hike, camp, climb, ski, photograph...
One day, when another chance to get into Los Alamos National Laboratory popped up, we didn't hesitate a second. This time it went well and we finally moved to this outdoor heaven.
We spend even more time in the wilderness. But for the first time, we can bring family, friends and clients to our vacation home. We can show our guests famous beautiful places but also little hidden gems known only to locals.
